Love Bunnies!

Before April is over, I wanted to show the 2 Easter cards I made for my children. One is an Easel Card and the other a tunnel card. Elizabeth Craft has the cutest bunny/rabbit die that I had to use it on both cards. The carrot that the bunny is holding is so small and so darn cute! Love it! The Martha Stewart balloon punch worked great for the size Easter egg that I needed. Closer look at the individual cards are featured below so you can see the background of the tunnel card better. Thanks for stopping ... read more »

Easter Baskets Galore!

With Easter this weekend, I have been working on Easter Baskets for my daughter and her roommates. I have made Easter Baskets similar to these with the Envelope Punch Board but I saw these on Pinterest using just one or two pieces of cardstock. These are good size baskets too! As you can see, they hold the Lindt chocolate bunny and some candies too. I have decorated them with Gerber Daisies and punch art bunnies and ducks. These are made with 2 sheets of cardstock measuring 6 x 9 inches and then glued t... read more »

The grass is from Die-namics which I use all the time and the bunnies are from Impression Obsession. This is the last of my SU Designer paper, love the purple! A closer look at the inserts with grass and bunnies. I used the MS balloon punch for the Easter eggs which worked perfectly! On the back of the card I made a pocket for a gift card. Envelope Punch Board Baskets

More Easter baskets but these are made with the Envelope Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers. This tutorialdoes a great job of explaining how to put this cute Easter basket together. I think she uses the 6 inch which makes a small basket I like using an 8 inch square which makes a perfect size basket, not big but cute size. I would suggest both sizes so adorable! Simple, Pretty, Easter Nails 2015

I love my pastel shades, any excuse to wear them on my nails and I will. Easter gives me even more excuse to wear as many colours at once as possible. As my nail skills are pretty weak I've kept it simple, here is what I went with. I used five different shades, four different brands. Starting on the little finger with a pastel blue from Barry M's Speedy Quick Dry Collection called Eat My Dust, next a pastel pink from Nails inc. NailKale collection called Lexington Street, the middle finger I went with a... read more »

"Easter Egg"

Been on a roll with Jordan 3 based customs lately so here's another for the Jordan 3 column (another one coming after this as well). Now I know Easter's a long way off but I figured i'd dub these as "Easter Egg" because of the color combo.Like the sneakers in my last two posts, the base shoe was once again, the Jordan 3 Fire Reds: And here's the finished product: The pair in this picture were done for a client based in Germany (yes I do ship international for those unaware). I just think the colors r... read more »

Typical Norwegian Easter

This is what we do, the majority of the people in Norway still go up to the mountains to their cabin ( or they rent one or go with other friends) and we spend Easter holidays there. Some Norwegians might say this is so 80's and 90's style, but statistics have once again shown us that the mountains is still our preferred Easter holiday destination. So whiles some people spend their holiday in pure luxury we go to cabin where we don't have electricity, water or indoor toilet. Yeah it is true a lot of the t... read more »

Little Easter Baskets

My sister and I made these cute little Easter baskets yesterday for Easter. Our SU demonstrator, Cathy Britton, showed us how to make them at our last SU party. Really easy and quick to make. Just take 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch cardstock and score at 1 1/2 inch and 3 inch mark. Turn the cardstock just on turn and score again at the same measurements. Then cut on the score lines until the horizontal score line intersects. There should be 2 cuts made. Turn the cardstock 2 turns and do the same. Your cardstock sho... read more »

Celebrating Easter bonnet tradition
