I Have No Time For Patience

When I was a child, I learned of a concept called The Fruits of the Spirit in Sunday School. Homeschooling With A Broken/Sprain

Homeschooling Without Borders In our homeschool we do lots of traveling and visiting family. But these last few months we have been taking it easy and staying close to home. Your Life Is About To Change

I love those words. “Your life is about to change!” Your experiences will dictate how you receive those words. Are you thinking “Oh, no! Here we go again!” or are you excited, looking forward? A Camping Birthday

My son who is an avid outdoorsman has a birthday coming up in a couple of weeks. He is actually camping this week before he starts his new job with Mountain Hardware in California. The side step cards is a lot of fun to make and decorate and seemed perfect for this camping/hiking birthday card. The tent I did free-hand just making a triangle. I cut up the middle and folded back the flap to make the opening to the tent. I used eyelets with string to make it look like the door was tied open. The flame is th... read more »

Easter Camping

We are well packed for our camping trips!A week ago today, I was sitting in the Gila National Forest on the most beautiful of days. No wind. Slightly cloudy skies. No homework. No people or noise or distractions. Just me, my dad, my mom and my two pups Emmy and Murphy.Fast forward one week... I am sitting in my room avoiding doing homework. It's a disgustingly nasty spring day. Winds up to 40ish mph. Dust blowing in through the windows. And too many noises and distractions around.Amazing how so much chan... read more »
